I created my Spirit Series by photographing the remarkable forms that appear in the natural flow of water, fire and smoke. I use all the tools of a modern photographic studio to control the quality and color of light, select perspective, and dynamically juxtapose this beautiful expression of energy. I've added the perfect mirror symmetry to evoke a resonance with our own body�s bilateral symmetry.

My photographs seek to evoke a connection with the underlying magic of life. Too often we live in a world of our own expectations, blind to the beauty and oneness around us. My photographs of smoke reveal the complexity and beauty of the invisable sea of air we live in. I called it Spirit Work because of it efemeral flow and amazing resonance with our own human form.
